In February 2025, the Ministry of Environment (MoE) and the Ministry of Justice jointly announced a self-reporting period under the K-REACH leniency program, which ends on October 27, 2025 and has only two weeks left.
After the deadline, enforcement is expected to intensify, and any identified violations will face strict penalties and administrative actions. This self-reporting period provides a final opportunity for companies to fulfill their (pre-)registration and those update obligations under K-REACH.

With less than two weeks remaining, and considering that the OR appointment alone may take up to a week, companies are strongly advised to review their obligations and take immediate action if any violations are identified.

– Signed OR letter with list of substances (if applicable, template as attached)
– Specific obligation that has been violated (Registration / Pre-registration / Updating registration)
– Annual tonnage for the years 2018–2025
– Whether corrective measures have been implemented or can be implemented before the end of the self-reporting period
