[Chemtopia] Pre-announcement of administration of draft amendment of the notification 「Regulations on detailed methods, etc. of hazard assessment of chemical substances」 is shared herein. (Date of announcement: November 25th) • In partially amending and notifying 「Regulations on detailed methods, etc. of hazard assessment of chemical substances」 (NIER Notification No. 2020-1) as follows pursuant to Article 24 of 「Act on the Registration and Evaluation, etc. of Chemical Substances」 and Paragraph 4, Article 32 of Enforcement Rule of the same Act, the following announcement shall be made in accordance with Article 46 of ｢Administrative Procedure Act｣to inform the nation of purpose of and reasons for the amendment as well as its main contents in advance in order to collect opinions on the matter. - Hazard assessment may be conducted on the assumption of the worst circumstance of exposure that can be reasonably supposed for the purpose of a prompt confirmation of hazard.
