Chemical products commonly used by consumers are household chemical products under ‘The Act on Safety Management of Consumer Chemical Products and Biocides’ managed by the Ministry of Environment and hygiene products managed by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Cosmetics and quasi-medicine are regulated under Cosmetic regulation and the pharmaceutical affairs law by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, respectively. These products have different requirements according to their relevant authorities and regulations.
