[Newsletter No.54] Pilot Operation of Opinion Collection System for Authorization Substances In 2021, the Ministry of Environment designated 10 candidates of risk concerned substances subject to authorization  and had short period to collect industry opinions early this year. The authority, now, opened
an online system platform  to collect opinions and the platform is on pilot operation for the 10 candidate
substances from June 8th to September  15th of 2022.

During the pilot operation period, opinions on each substance can be submitted with major items such as information of hazard, use, and alternative substance (or technology), etc. The submitted opinions will be disclosed,but the contents claimed for non-disclosure will not be disclosed when the opinion is submitted.

The system is only available in Korean and it seems to have some errors as the system just opened.

The following ten species of chemical substances were selected as candidate substances for this pilot project.
